The Center for Art, Ecology, Natural Medicine and Sustainable Living
The Center for Art and Ecology is a retreat center that provides opportunities for people of all backgrounds and cultures that explore the relationships between fine arts and crafts, regenerative living, ecology, natural medicine and healing in a setting inspiring creativity and discovery.
We have started to build 3.5 acres of interpretive nature trails, gardens, art studios, yoga/meditation platforms, an outdoor kitchen, a library and sustainable living projects. All next to the Hotel and Beach Community. Today you find hiking trails, tropical gardens, fruit trees, medicinal plants, worm beds, chickens, hammocks, outdoor kitchen, living area and every day we continue to build new things.
Our activities are currently focused into:
- Retreat Programs for Groups
- International Volunteer and Development Program (I-VOD)
- Community Development Workshop Programs
The Center for Art and Ecology will facilitate education, information, resources to visitors of the center and actively be involved in community development. In providing this resource, we recognizes that by incorporating knowledge of environment and culture, we create the knowledge that is necessary to protect them.
By its nature it will continually evolve in cultural and spiritual ways but is simply meant to be a community sharing with others a regenerative and healthy way of living and development. Always looking to seek out balance and promote cyclical relationships in and with the living environment.
