International Volunteer and Development Program (I-VOD)

Thank you for your interest in our International Volunteer and Development Program (I-VOD) at Parque Maderas.   This program is designed to combine hands-on service with experiential learning in the beautiful coastal setting of Playa Maderas, Nicaragua.   I-VOD members participate in meaningful and rewarding projects that focus on sustainable living practices, community outreach and education, organic farming and cultural emersion.   The location of this program offers members the unique opportunity to live in a Spanish speaking country and become a part of Nicaragua's true authentic culture.   We encourage you to carefully read through the information provided.   Part of understanding who we are, where we came from and where we are going will help inyour decision to become a member.
